Status: October 2023

1.gENERAL INFORMATION

Koblenz-Touristik GmbH, Bahnhofplatz 7, 56068 Koblenz (hereinafter: "Koblenz-Touristik"), thanks you for visiting our Facebook page and for your interest in our products and services. The protection of your personal data (hereinafter: "data") is an important concern for us, which is why we would like to inform you about this below.

Koblenz-Touristik uses the technical platform and services of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter: ("Meta") for the information service offered here. Both companies, Koblenz-Touristik GmbH and Meta, are in principle jointly responsible for this Facebook presence within the meaning of Art. 4 para. 7 and 26 GDPR.

We would like to point out that you use this Facebook page and its functions voluntarily and on your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating). Alternatively, you can also access the information offered via this page on our website at https://www.koblenz-touristik.de.

2.pERSONAL DATA

This is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter: "data subject"); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

This basically means all direct or indirect information that leads to your identity. This includes, for example, information such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, account data, credit/debit card data, but also fingerprints, photos and meta-log-ins, etc.

It is not necessary for you to transmit such data in order to use our Facebook page. In certain cases, however, conclusions can be drawn about your person, e.g. when leaving comments or other postings, if we allow this on our Facebook page.

In addition, we only store and process data that may be automatically collected by Internet technology when you visit web or social media pages.

3.cOLLECTION OF YOUR DATA THROUGH "PAGE INSIGHTS" (FACEBOOK)

When you visit our Facebook page, Meta is primarily responsible for collecting your IP address and other information that is stored on your device in the form of cookies (see below). This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the Facebook pages, with statistical information about the use of the Facebook page. Meta provides more information on this at the following link: http://de-de.facebook.com/help/pages/insights.

4.dISCLOSURE / TRANSFER OF YOUR DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES

The data collected about you in this context will be further processed by Meta Ltd. and, if necessary, transferred to countries outside the European Union / EEA. This data transfer to a third country is legitimized by an adequacy decision of the EU Commission in connection with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), the US company is certified accordingly according to the US Department of Commerce (see https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/data-protection-authorities).

What information Meta receives and how it is used is described by Meta in general terms in its data usage guidelines. There you will also find information on how to contact Meta and on the settings options for advertisements. The data usage guidelines are available at the following link: http://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy.

5.uSE, DISCLOSURE, STORAGE DURATION WITH REGARD TO YOUR DATA AT / BY META

The way in which Meta uses the data from visits to Facebook pages for its own purposes, the extent to which activities on the Facebook page are assigned to individual users, how long Meta stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties and for what purposes is not conclusively and clearly stated by Meta and is not known to us, but we assume that it is used at least for advertising purposes (analysis, creation of personalized advertising), creation of user profiles and market research. Please also consult your Facebook terms of use.

When you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to Meta. According to Meta, this IP address is anonymized (for "German" IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Meta also stores information about the end devices of its users (e.g. as part of the "login notification" function); Meta may thus be able to assign IP addresses to individual users.

Meta remains solely responsible for the processing of such personal data, in particular in connection with Page Insights.

6.cOOKIE SETTING AND SOCIAL MEDIA BUTTONS

If you are currently logged in to Facebook as a user, cookies will be set on your end device in accordance with your voluntary selection via Meta's "cookie consent box", at least with your Facebook ID. This enables Meta to understand that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Meta pages. Meta buttons integrated into websites enable Meta to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Meta profile(s). This data can be used to tailor content or advertising to you.

If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. This will delete meta-information that can be used to directly identify you.

This allows you to use our Facebook page without revealing your meta identifier. If you access interactive functions on the page (like, comment, share, message, etc.), a meta login screen will appear. After logging in, you will once again be recognizable to Meta as a specific user.

7.mANAGING AND DELETING YOUR DATA AT META
