Cycling
Sightseeing by bike – a sure thing!
Koblenz, its attractions and the surrounding areas are prefect for exploring by bike. You can follow your own nose, the Confluentia theme route or the Rhine-Moselle cycle path: well developed cycle paths, flat terrain and the opportunity to hire bikes let cycling fans’ hearts beat faster. Inline skaters also enjoy the tarmac paths along the banks.
Rhein-Radweg
From the source (Switzerland) to the mouth (Netherlands), a 1400 km long cycle path runs along the Rhine passing Koblenz.
The section from Bingen through to Rolandseck/Unkel is approx. 119 km long and the way into Koblenz is comfortable. Decide on a direction and combine the distance with a return journey by train or boat.

Moselradweg

Koblenz is the start and the destination of the 300 km long Moselle cycle path. From/to Metz, the path follows the bank paths through the beautiful Riesling wine lands. Look for a destination on the Moselle which suits you and combine the cycle tour with a return journey by train or boat for example.
