Köln-Düsseldorf Deutsche Rheinschifffahrt AG (KD)
In addition to the planned public services from Easter to the end of October, the KD offers numerous atmospheric panorama tours with dancing and entertainment programs, discos and parties, boat tours as well as fairytale tours and children’s parties for little guests. The extensive winter program can also be proud of itself. From carnival parties during the whole carnival season through to advent tours with shows such as „Adventissimo“ through to New Year parties – the 14 boats in the KD fleet will cheer you up in winter.
Boat tours
At the place where the Rhine and Moselle rivers come together in Koblenz, it is worth discovering the Rhine and Moselle Valleys by boat. Experience the UNESCO world heritage site, the "Upper Middle Rhine Valley" in a different, and possibly the most beautiful way or follow the wine trails along the Moselle.
Summer and winter, day trips, public services and special trips, castles and other tours, visiting the ports along the Konrad-Adenauer banks, an extension to the German Corner (Deutsches Eck); you will find a wide range of offers on the boat trips.

Gilles Personenschifffahrt
Company parties and other celebrations, conferences, seminars or tours between Koblenz and Vallendar as well as special tours to the different wine festivals, Rhine in Flames etc. The baby of the fleet of 4 ferries is a nostalgic ferry named Cäcilia (150 persons).
Hölzenbein Rhein- und Moselschifffahrt
On the boats "Rheingold" and Confluentia" you can enjoy space for 600 persons per boat between Koblenz and Rüdesheim for New Years Eve parties, Easter brunch, communion or St. Nicholas tours.
Marksburgschifffahrt Vomfell
Trips between Koblenz and Braubach as well as special trips for festivities on the Rhine and Moselle are the family Vomfell’s speciality.
One of their two boats, the “Paloma“, has a sun deck above a play boat which is sure to provide amusement for the little captains.
Personenschifffahrt Merkelbach
The modern, distinguishable appearance of the passenger ship the “Deutsches Eck“ with its stylish and snug inner design sets a new tone which is well accepted by the passengers on the public services and the special tours. Up to 300 persons can book a long or short castle tour, public services or a special tour between Mainz and Cologne. Departures from Koblenz leave from the port at the water gauge house, in the Rhine Gardens or in Koblenz-Pfaffendorf. The travel plan is reduced from October to Whitsuntide.
Bonner Personenschifffahrt
„Anchors away!” Themed tours, club day trips and package offers…. You can choose one of the five Bonner passenger ferries; maybe the Moby Dick? They come to Koblenz on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and travel to Winningen on the Moselle River.
A ferry arrives in Koblenz every Monday from April to the end of September and journeys up the Rhine to Braubach and Boppard. On all of the days mentioned, there is the opportunity to travel down the Rhine from Koblenz to Bonn late in the afternoon.
